My mother and I grew up in a candle-making environment as my grandparents made classic church candles for a living and most times we were there, helping them.

Light'Scapade started as a hobby, playing around with different waxes, scents and designs. We quickly realised our excitement was growing and soon, the house was full of candles.

We took our time to develop our hobby into a business, starting by offering candles as gifts to our friends and relatives. The word soon spread and other acquaintances started purchasing some for themselves as we gradually had more and more requests. We felt encouraged to make our work visible to the larger community, thinking there may be other people that might enjoy our products.

A nice looking and lovely scented candle sounds beautiful, but the great news is that there is also a sustainable, eco-friendly, harmless way of making candles, achieving superior results compared to classic ones.

Some of the benefits of soywax and beeswax candles are that they are smokeless, longer lasting, stronger scented, safe for people with breathing conditions, children and pets. This is great news for everyone, isn't it?

We are hand-pouring and decorating every candle ourselves, which makes each and every one of them unique, with perfect imperfections.

Our highest intention with the Light'Scapade project is to spread blessings and good vibes into people's homes and their lives.
